Oregon Head Start Prekindergarten
OPK is a high-quality comprehensive early education program that prepares 3- and 4-year-olds from families living in poverty for success in school and later in life. While about 12,600 children are enrolled in OPK, more than 5,000 eligible children are left out for lack of funding.

Ready for School is a statewide movement led by a coalition of business and civic leaders, and supported by leaders in the education and law enforcement professions. The goal of Ready for School is to ensure that all Oregon children are healthy and developmentally ready to learn when they enter kindergarten.
